Loved this simple little sign.  I seem to be shooting a lot these days from my car window while driving along Saint Clair.

Chipolte

Downtown Saint Paul, corner of 5th and Saint Peter.  I'm not a big fan of their food but I really liked the way the chairs looked all lined up.  And since I took several shots but couldn't decide which one I liked best, I figured I'd post them all here.  Enjoy.

Life is Just a Fantasy........

On West 7th just before Red's Savoy.  This store has moved locations a few times but it can't hide from me!  I thought the slogan on the wall inside was a screamin' riot!  :)

Sunrise Over Saint Clair Street

As my Uncle Mikey used to cry at the top of his lungs each morning while we were camping in the Colorado Mountains: "GOOD MORNIN' YELLER!!!!!!"

Nice way to start another great day in Saint Paul!

Looking into the future..........

I love watching older couples.  I imagine what their story might be, how long they might have been together, what they went through when they were younger.  I love spying them on the street on their way out to dinner, like this couple was.  Along Saint Clair Street just west of Snelling.

Chip

Sometimes, the smallest things catch my eye, like this chip in my coffee cup at Pizza Luce on Selby Avenue.  There is so much beauty in imperfections.

Saint Paul Cheese Shop

Twice now, I've had AMAZING cheese from this shop. And the people that work there are awesome. Check it out. Grand and Snelling next to Jamba Juice.
I especially loved their BIG knives!  Perfect for cutting the cheese I suspect.  :)

Ugliest Apartment Buildings in Saint Paul......

Technically, these are smack dab in between Minneapolis and Saint Paul so I'm not really sure to whom they actually belong.  I sorta hope it's Minneapolis because they are just so hideous in my opinion.  Either way, there you go!  And these were shot from a moving vehicle so a little leeway on the clarity and composition please!  :)  Thank you!!!

Shooting on the sly.........

DSW in Roseville: No matter where you go in Saint Paul, or Minneapolis for that matter, you will see women in burka's.  Usually, the women appear to be Somali, but not always.  They wear the burka's even when working out in the gym.  I suppose if you are accustomed to being so covered (and in my opinion encumbered) by your clothes than it wouldn't really bother you, but I can't imagine living life all wrapped up like that.  I respect their choice and really love how colorful some of the fabric is and I always like seeing women dressed like that because I enjoy the diverse area in which I live.

The Uptown Cafeteria & Support Group

Ok, technically NOT Saint Paul but still, I loved the cafeteria trays on the wall at this quirky Uptown eatery.  Very retro fabulous.  And the food's not bad either.  Plus I highly recommend the rooftop bar.  It kicks serious ass!

Check out The Uptown Cafeteria & Support Group!

Trader Joe's

The Joe's in Saint Paul on Lexington and Randolph is close enough to my house that I can walk there, which I did, yesterday, and I happened to pick up these delicious delights!  Thanks Joe!

The Saint Paul Classic Bike Tour

Yours truly rode the longest route, 39 miles.  Added to my commute there and back, I rode 43.38 miles in one day.  A personal best.  It was a truly STUNNING day and Saint Paul was the PERFECT backdrop.
