From Above

Just to the right of this fellow you can see two mezzanine levels. Check out the exit light and the door to the right of his head. That should give you some perspective on how big this thing is. Massive!

St. Paul City Hall/Ramsey County Court House

What you are looking at is the largest carved onyx statue in the world titled "Vision of Peace". It stands in Memorial Hall in the main lobby of the building. It took St. Paul stone carver Giovanni John Garatti & 19 local stone carvers 12,800 hours to complete the statue. I stood at the bottom and shot up at this mammoth statue. Tomorrow I'll post a shot from above looking down. It's quite impressive.

Well, Pete's Guitar didn't make it but the Tea House is still going strong after close to 30 years! There's no website that I could find for this place but apparently, the Russian Hamburgers called Piroshki are highly addictive! I've put it on my list of places to try but may wait till the weathers a bit cooler since Russian food tends to be on the heavy side. It's on University Avenue if you're wanting to try it out.

This fun bird made out of junk sits outside the Goodwill on University! Shot from the car, this isn't the best photo ever but it's the best I could do on that particular day. Enjoy!

New Store on University

LOVE the sign out front! Love the retro furniture in the window. Love the whole place!
