The Weisman Art Museum

Behold! The Weisman Art Museum!

Okay, okay. Technically this museum is in Minneapolis. (Forgive me Voix?) But I mean, come on! That gorgeous shot deserves to be posted. Here's a description from the museum website.

Housed in a striking stainless steel and brick building designed by architect Frank Gehry, the Weisman Art Museum offers an educational and friendly museum experience. The museum's collection features early 20th century American artists such as Georgia O'Keeffe and Marsden Hartley, as well as a diverse selection of contemporary art. A teaching museum for the University of Minnesota and the community, the Weisman provides a fresh, engaging arts experience through an array of programs and a changing schedule of exhibitions.

You're only in Minneapolis by about a mile ;)

Great photo. I've never seen this building before, but it's quite interesting. Though I only get over to that part of town to see a gopher sports game of some sort or another.

I will only forgive you if you let me post this photo on my blog too.

Great shot. Where were you standing?

We were riding along the river on our Motorcycles when I saw it. I got very excited because the sun on the building was great and I'd never seen this building before. I made Shawn pull over and I just ran across the street. I was standing right on the river and used my zoom.

And permission granted, of course!
