Ramsey Hill Part 2

Here is one of the homes carved into the Ramsey hillside.

This one looks like an Italian villa. Who knew such wonderful homes were hidden among the trees and tucked into the hillside?

What a great set of stairs. Can you just imagine shoveling snow of them steps in the winter months!

Heavens no! And I thought my tiny driveway was bad. YIPES!

Or climbing it up with groceries - I hope they have a driveway up the property as well.

Actually, I've always thought of it as a French country house. I think I'm swayed mostly by a photograph on a book of French cooking that my brain tells me I saw once, probably years ago. Also, there's a street sign on that wall that reads "Rue Eugene Dupont" (as in Eugene Dupont Street in French).

I'm very curious to know how people who live on that winding, hillside road live.

I love this house! I would walk my dogs past it and just marvel at the symmetry and utilization of space.

I'm enjoying this blog immensely! Thanks for sharing all of your photos.

As always,
