In this day and age, a regular Target just won't do. The one near my house, which the locals affectionately refer to as Targhetto, is soon to be leveled so it can become the parking lot for the new and improved Super Targhetto! In this photo, Target is on the right and Super Target is on the left. In 3 months, Target will be gone and Super Target will be open. Is it just me or does this seem an excessive waste????

I know, right?!! I always get sick to my stomach when a McDonald's tears a place down to build a new one with a playland, or something. It really makes me wonder what the numbers look like for it to be worth it.
a very excessive waste since they just renovated the Targetto only 5 years ago (leaving the old parking lot a completed maze and traffic jam to boot). why not just ADD on instead of re-doing. I don't get it. I was massivly bummed as I tried to actually SHOP at either venue but was waved away by some chick in a reflective vest. yeah, you think it gives you power... fine... Walmart here I come. Is either store open?? I wasn't happy. I'm so glad I live on the East side where all we have to deal with is 36 being shut down!!! Oh don't get me started.
I used to shop at your Targhetto location when I lived on Wheeler in St. Paul. What's especially wasteful about this location is the fact that Target had just renovated the existing store about 6 years ago. Seems like a complete waste of money and resources to me.
