Gadzooks! We've crossed the river again. Sorry folks! Saint Paul is awesome but sometimes I do stray to Minneapolis.
Question for you.............as you can probably tell, I'm feeling less than inspired with my photo blog lately and have been contemplating deep sixing it in favor of a new project "People Saint Paul" where I highlight different people who live and work in our fair city. Thoughts? Ideas? Suggestions? Comments? Anyone?

well, i like your blog and i just found it a few weeks ago, so i'd like you to continue.
but...whatever you're inspired to do, you should do.
I enjoy your blog but will continue to enjoy it in a new direction, too. Do what you find most satisfying.
Have you thought about taking on a co-blogger? Sometimes people find that takes away the pressure of doing something every day.
Well my selfish tendencies would like to see more photos. Iused to read this blog a lot before we moved back to the TC. We couldn't sell our FL home so we are back in the Sunshine state.. which was nice in February. But you post tons of photos of my old neighborhoods and haunts (W.St.Paul/Mendota & Crocus Hill/Highland Park)so you blog is very nostalgic for me and I am glad that I found you again (actually, I just remembered your blog title today!). Thank you so much for all of your awesome photos and I will be back often if you stay. You have a real talent for photography!
Hi Lucas--
I'm arts editor at the Twin Cities Daily Planet (tcdailyplanet.net), and we'd like to partner with your photoblog! I'm totally serious. Would you please drop me a note at jay@tcdailyplanet.net, so I can explain at greater length? Much appreciated.

Take pictures of St Paul homes. I used to live on the 1400 block of Hague Avenue and I have very fond memories...
Hi, Lucas!
I passed a link to this blog onto a friend who lives in Minneota (sp?).
In terms of ideas for your blog, here's a daily photo blog I enjoy:

Also, you might have fun playing with your pix in iPhoto or whatever your photo software is. Check out my wife's blog at

to see some of things she's done with a standard digital camera and iPhoto.
I enjoy your comments on Scrumpy's Baker!
I don't see what you've got to lose, Lucas. I recommend taking photo's in suburbs too, like Maplewood, Roseville, Arden Hills, etc.
I live in Roseville right now and I want to leave MN to escape the cold. This place has a great mall, among plenty of other places to eat and shop at.
YO, do they play bandy at the minnesota oval?

People of ST Paul? May I suggust Carnies of the Minnesota State Fair?
